Does anyone know how to convert the .ts files to .mpg or avi?

I don't know if that's a possibility but those files can be burned into a DVD with Nero. I also believe that Windows Media Player is capable of playing those files on your computer.

The program ConvertXtoDVD is the most commonly used program to convert the .ts files. It will convert to DVD format, mpg and avi! It is available on the Internet as a trial and some torrents will have the hacked version available.

You can use HDTV2DVD program, this converts the .ts files to DVD format, then use any dvd burning software to copy these two files to DVD, DVD fab or One Click DVD Pro works well with any DVD's or dvd files. You can download hdtv2dvd for free at the following website.

These files take a while to convert so be patient. Good luck.
