I think, anything that is USB.. is the only way to go.. The Ultra is better, than the Extreme.. though, some people claim.. the picture is better on the Extreme.... of course some people. have complained. that it takes 3 seconds to change a channel, versus 2.5. on the other receiver.. too.. lol can't imagine anyone wanting to time how long it takes to change a channel, but obviously someone did... lol just remember to forget how you load up an Extreme.. the Ultra is much simpler to get up and running.. only need the latest 3rd party PGM... no sat file.. no channel list.. good luck.. txsgent

Sonicview 4000, easy to load ( usb or cable), great support, plenty of memory, and of course user friendly. Oh yeah.... good picture quality too.

I was an Pansat 2500A user. I bought and instaled a new "viewsat ultra". Loads real easy and setup fairly straight forward.... very happy so far. USB stick loading great!!!! I do believe however that the picture on my old Pansat was clearer.

Ultra or SV4000, once you have used usb updating you won't want to go back to the old method. Both are very timely on their file releases.
