If you have not read the flash message, charlie and b3v down. That means all receivers including captain are down. Wait for new fixes. I thank the coders, moderators and others who are working hard to get new files and make this site successful.

I ment is this the end for FTA this is the worst in the last 3 years . My captiveworks , pansat and coolsat are always down .

Be patient guys. All receivers are down and I'm sure our Captain team is working hard on a new fix. I bought 2 units 1 month ago and I am not complaining because that is the price to pay to get free tv so let's wait for that new fix or a simpler way is to pay for the service. . By the way, this is the file section and please put your comments in the guide and discussion section so that it'll be easier for everyone to notice the new fix when it'll be lanched. Thanks to all of you and all the best for the new year.

First...why is this thread in the files section???

Second...relax! This is hardly the worst...not even close....I do suggest you sub or have a 2nd solution available like plastic, IKS (nfusion box), etc. Coolsat, pansat, viewsat, captain, etc are all the same concept...so generally they will all go down at the same time...so just cause you have 3 boxes...if they are all the same concept...no help...one box may get a fix a day or week earlier then an other..but that is the only advantage.

There are plenty of stuff still up..nfusion boxes are up and going, dreambox, captiveworks (with bugs), dvb cards...

And don't think it is going to get better...will probably be like this for the next while...it sucks but is expected!

First of all this is the files section so don't post discussions here as some people get excited thinking there is a new file out when there isn't. Secondly "all" boxes are down. The coders are working on a more premanent solution to the latest attacks. Captain is one of the newer on the market and it does take a little longer as of late with these new problems but before they were right up there with Viewsat and the others as far as punctuality of puting out files. I think once all the coders figure out these latest problems Captain will be back on the ball. It's an excellent receiver (much better than my Viewsat pro) so be "patient" and ride this out. Again, don't place discussions here in the future place them in the discussion forum. Thanks you.

If you need TV this bad to complain about it you need to do 2 things....

1) Pay for TV programming
2) get a life

Basic Cable TV is about 20-30$/month... If you can't afford that then you have other things to worry about...

So if you think about it... this equals

1 case of Beer...
or
3 packs of smokes...
or
a large coffey from Tim Hortons every day for about 22 days...
or
1 trip to the movies with a date...
or
2 beers and a VIP lap dance from an adult club...
or
1 take out dinner for two...

do without any one of these things and you can afford TV

I don't believe in paying for TV if you can't watch a program without interruptions from tons of commercials. By right they should pay us for watching those stupid commercials.
