Number of different public servers available
I know this had been answered in many posts, but even with a search I can never seem to find what I'm looking for when I need it!
Sonysat, CNX, Satzen, Sonicview, TopSat.... Which units are on the same servers? I'd like to play with a new unit and I already have all of the above... What other units are out there that do not use the servers that are for the above listed units?
Thanks guys!

I'm considering the new KBox Panther HD.... How's the KBox up time been compared with others? I'm assuming this unit is on a different server than the models I have. It's either that or possibly the Limesat, but I don't know about their servers or reliability either. I just want to cover a few bases and not have 4 receivers all on the same server. It appears as though I have three now that are!
Thanks for the info so far. I do appreciate it!

kbox is alone from what i know.
great up time, very minimal freezing, and when it does,it is a second,
friend has the k1+,
old,but still running great.
not much 455 lately but very stable.
used to be a strong contender,i think they are playing the quiet game,
focusing on the basics and international,

I just made an interesting discovery. The Kbox K2 hi def goes for close to $400 with the high def module installed, but you can get the unit itself for under $300...not much above the cost of a Limesat.... Here's the catch... the K2 model accepts an NFusion 8PSK module with no mods.....drops right in! Since I happen to have a POS NFusion just gathering dust it's a simple matter to pull the module and end up with the HD unit, module included for under $300. Not a bad deal if you have the NFusion being used as a boat anchor anyway. At least some good would come of it!lol

Does it strike anyone funny that not only are the new K2 Panther models are being sold by NFusion dealers, but that they also accept the same 8PSK boards that the NFusion used? Not a very good indication if you read anything into that! I did pick up one of them though for under $279 including shipping, a Limesat, Nano 2 ( I already have the nano 1, but am told that they use different servers than the nano), and a Topsat. Along with the Sony Sat, the satzen and the SV HD I'll have quite a few of the basses covered. I'll try to do a comparrison review when I have them all together.

Got the Limesat today....wow...2 day shipping... and on a holiday weekend to boot! Took less than 20 minutes to set it up including the scan... Excellent guide and picture... I like the features. This looks like a great little unit....I'm impressed.
