Post dpp44 switch important for channels..

have one receiver and a dish 1000 plus 4lnb ... do I don't have a switch do I need one... I tested each lnb individually and all get the same exact channels from different sats lol .... is this how this works .. what a rip off.. I was thinking each lnb would pick up totally dirrent channels ... no repeats ... or am I doing somthing wrong...?? I set up the dish when I was getting a reception for echostar .... can this dish pick up amazon... galaxy .... etc.. ?? ....

You must route signals from the lnbs to the receivers. With FTA receivers you are going to need a switch of some kind. Not sure what kind of test you ran idividually...It obvious you didnt run direct from a lnb to receiver because they are pointed at different sats. If only using one receiver, run a cable from each lnb to a diseqc 4x1 or use a dpp44 if using multi receivers. Diseqc needs to be turned on and sats committed the same as they are ported on the switch. 118.7 and 119 will be ported the same. The dish is designed to receive diknet provider sats with lnb placement for 110°, 118.7°, 119° and 129°
