I herd that Viewsat is making an anausment on SEPT 17, 2009 inthat they have a cark. Can anyone eles get thsi.

Thanks.. my friend.. guess my brain is not engaged today.. lol
So.. I will now say this.. to them.. there is a post in the rumor section, saying that, there is a fix coming soon. but it is in the rumor section.. I have not read or heard about any announcements being made by Viewsat.. since their coder site is down.. or was, the last time I looked, with the exception of the start page.. which says.. N3 Files Expected Anytime Now and that is all it says, none of the rest of the site is up now. I must also add.. that.. it is not wise to go to a site. that has gone down.. and is in the process of coming back up again.. when several entities of the Distribution end are being taken to court.. as we speak.. over theft of DN and BEV signals.. U just do not know, who is in charge of that site.. Since I upset a member yesterday.. discussing that topic.. I will not elaborate on it today... only to say.. it is wise to stay away from that site for now.. until we can see if it is the original owner still running that site and not investigators, running it... txsgent

As for an announcement forth coming... I don't think that I have read anywhere that an announcement was that close that a date was set. The rumor stated that they were working on the situation and that they were in the testing phase. This looked promising and that they had also looked promising before but they had not gotten over the hump.
It would be nice if they did, but as other senior member have posted, nobody know at this time if information coming from Viewsat is trustworthy or not. There is a possibility that the provider is running the official release site since VS is involved in court.
Be patient and an answer will come down sometime soon on all of the chatter about VS. If it is true or not something will come and once it does, it WILL be reliable based on fact and not rumor. Nobody can rush this no matter how much we want a stand alone file released.
Txsgent, you got to it before me. Darn!!! I was helping my son beat G-Force. LOL

The wisest thing for us to all do wait until the senior members that are here have something HERE!!! I am pretty sure that the logistics of how files are released is simple. If it is there, people have the ability to log in to the site and access the file and bring it to there sites that host and post.
The safest thing is for everyone involved is sit tight (unless you are a Mod with the in for example) and wait until it's on the best site on the internet: FTAConcept.

Cyphris and Gigster are on that site. They both work for Viewsat and have been saying this every since N3 came into play. Who know's if they are feeding us reliable information are just trying to sell the remaining inventory of Viewsat receivers. I definitely don't know. My crystal ball got broken and I can't see into the future anymore. LOL

I received an e-mail about the Sept 17 release for the N3 for veiwsat a couple of days ago just hope that they come thru with the fix but still make it out as a rumer for now. Everybodys close to a fix rite now so we see who releases first and hook that stb back up LOL!

As geoff stated from the beginning of this thread they have cark. Tric well versed in the subject pointed out it was crack that they had so they are going to announce very soon or on sept 17 their distribution areas. In their situation with the feds they must have concluded it would be safer and a lot more profitable to just sell crack. Thats how I read it.
