can not load 1.21 file by memory stick

Hi is maxslc
i try follow the guide to use the memory stick to load the file on 6100 i couldn't
and by the way memory stick is 2gb please help

Welcome to the site!

Try formatting your USB stick with your receiver first.
Then unzip the file before you send it to your USB stick.
Then load it to your receiver. I always turn off the receiver with the back switch before I disconnect the USB from the receiver.

from what I have read the box does not like big memory sticks. 1gb or smaller so far my 512 works great. you need to format it with your computer.

i use a 128 meg memory stick works good also.

I use several 2 gigs.. several 1 gigs.. and a couple of 512s.. they all work just fine.. some I have to format.. some come with 3rd party software, that must be installed first.. before you can use them.. but if you download and unzip or unrar the file.. and put the correct BIN, PGM, or whatever type of file you use on your receiver.. and you follow the correct steps for your receiver.. it should load just fine.... good luck.. txsgent
