Sat echo8? echo 11 or 12.. what gives?

Pardon my Ignorance if this question has already been addressed BUT:
Echo star 8 (110 degrees) seems to have changed and is now listed on my receiver as echo star 11,
yet comes up on my display when changing channels as echo star 1?? no programmimg received!

Echo star 8 apparently is now listed around 77 degrees and not 110 anymore.
My twin dish is pointed at (what used to be) echo star 7 and 8 ( 110 and 119 degrees)...

Other than the obvious N3 changeover taking place, is there something that I need to do with regard to the programs that are on the moved echostar 8?
The echostar 11 or 1- I am now recieving at 110 degrees is not putting out much of a signal into my receiver.... What gives? AND-- did they actually MOVE the sat. to another location in the sky? and if so- WHY?? I know , LOTS of questions here: I am just trying to understand whats going on...

You shouldn't be double posting anyhow. Just taking up spaces make things a lot slower. JMO...

given your description, it sounds like your sat dish is pointed the wrong way.. dishpointer.com will give you a visual on where your dish needs to be aimed at...
