My opinion on this Coolsat 4/5/6 Mess

Again I say to those who own Coolsat 4/5/6 and too those who do not! Yet seem to comment and their comments have no factual basis to support them. The problem as i see it is a money problem and the greedy corporation in this case Coolsat that has forgot there customer base and is relying on sites like this one and many others and the Mods who run them to help these corporations. Is it because of site Sponsorship? The Mods have seem to forgot what this is all about and why we all started testing. Its all about all of us getting together and helping each other at least that is the way it used to be, I have been testing for over 5 years now and I had no reason to speak up until now. When Mr Shady who i am sure means well states that the Coolsat 4/5/6 and are outdated and makes absurd comparisons who is he helping? Coolsat and coolsat only in no way has he helped any tester on this site with those comments that are just false!!! Many Mods have said "u should buy a new receiver" wrong! Just because the company is trying to sell its newer products they have spun it that they are out dated if that were the case why has Pansat done the same with their models that in some case are much older and outdated. What we have here is a Company that has decided to screw over its past loyal customers in an effort to make more money. The bottom line is make a better product and let it sell that way, I am very disappointed in all the mods that have just followed suit with this propaganda it is like as if Charlie started sponsoring on this site would the mods then be saying Subscribe to Charlie and Bev all the FTA receivers are outdated?. I am not trying to point fingers but the Mods are supposed to be our link to the coders and I feel in the Coolsat case they have become sales persons for the man AND FORGOT WHERE THEY CAME FROM. I would like for all the Coolsat 4/5/6 owners to get a hold of me and lets see if we can come up with a way to get this problem resolved. As for the everyone else I ask that you support us by not purchasing any new items from Coolsat. I say this cause i do believe the other companies are watching and if this works whats to stop any company from just discontinuing products to sell new ones. That is wrong if you want to sell your new Products try something novel like other Companies have done for years! "Make them better then whats currently available" Guess What people will buy if thats the case! This comes down to who's side you are on? I remember in the past there was no choice the testers stuck together..No one can tell me that the Coolsat4/5/6 cannot be supported or is outdated when the Pansat 2300, 2500, 27000 and many others are being supported very well i might add! I do hope nobody takes this as an attack it is just my opinion that i try to base on facts and we are all in the same boat so lets work together cause tomorrow it might be your receiver. Again all coolsat 4/5/6 owners get back to me because i think the only we are going to get something done is on our own and I wish the Mods were there to help us but we cant rely on them in this case....Thank you.

Whatever, for this being your 4th post. You had a lot to say and I think alot of it was negative toward Mods, remember they are here to help out anyone in need. It wouldn't suprise me if you were . I'm not saying they should ban you, but come on Mods are Mods. They aren't Coders!!!

I think you a few valid points WHATEVER92316...And there are also some misconceived or misunderstood points. Hopefully I can clarify some of these.

1. The MODS here are helping and support almost 51000 members who have and have purchased a variety of different receivers and we do that for absolutely no compensation (we like doing this and like to help). What has been said about the CS4/5/6K receivers is what we know and have been informed of by the official release site of the NORW Group (coders for Coolsat). We as MOD do not have any relationship with the coders or for that matter the manufacturer of any receiver. As a MOD all we can do is pass on the information as we know it....If you feel short changed by that, I strongly suggest you find another hobby (FREE TV).
2. Having been in this hobby for over 5 years I would think you were well enough informed to know the nature of this hobby...enough said!!!
3. At no time for any receiver has anyone including us MODs been guaranteed anything for the receivers we have all purchased...in fact all manucaturers clearly state that modifying the software of the receiver voids the warranty (guarantee). There have never been and never will be any warranty/guarantee that files other than factory updates would be available to the consumer (purchaser) of any FTA receiver.....No one owes anybody anything in this hobby!!!
4. If an opinion is expressed it is just that, just as your post is your opinion....take it for that!!!! By suggesting people purchase another brand of receiver, you are getting help and in more way than you know...you come here to pick up a free file that gives you free TV...we MODs come here day in day out to assist people just like you when you have a problem...Show a little respect please.

Now the choice is completely up to you on what you do...continue to complain causing your own blood to boil or make an informed decision on what you want to do next...The outcome is completely a result of your actions or inactions....
