Problem with 172...
Here's my situation at the moment. I 4got my remote control at home for my CS4k.
Earlier today I put in the new 172, was working for 2-3 hours, now...all SCRAMBLED.
Is it because of A/R thing or what happened ? I don't have to key manually, do I?
I tried hard booting and left for about 30 minutes, still scrambled. Everybody's still up ?
I mean...it was working right after the new file (172) installed.

Maybe doing a factory default and reloading newest patch may do the trick.

I did a couple hard reboot already but nothing. Again, I don't have my remote with me right now, but I'll try tomorrow with the factory reset and reinstall the 172.
As of right now, rebooting and waiting is not helping. I mean was working after file installation then came Scrambled. Seems like the keys rolling. but we'll see tomorrow.
Thanks guys,
T.

Hey UFC,
Loved it when you say " Currently Testing: My Wife's Patience" LOL
PS. Oh...my 2 year-young son said " Daddy...Daddy...He spin kicks " when he was sitting next to me while I was doing this. heheh

B3V keys rolled this morning, so it must be something else. I too had to do a hard reset twice today when I got home on my CS 7000 to get TV back. Took about 10 minutes for B3V to kick in and DN about 5 mins. They must have changed something in the stream today that the CS was having trouble with.
Leave it on a premium channel and wait...if not as others have suggested, reload factory then current.
Cheers

t_clealy good to hear that. I was embarrased when I was trying to help some one out and my daughter came into the room and she saw Satbums avatar. I'll leave it up to your imagination on what my daughter said.

check your switch, it has been raining a lot here, could have gotten water in it. just a thought! you said you had it before you left so your setting must be right ... good luck.

I resemble that remark---I am watching you!
t_clealy - how are you using your CS without your remote w/ up & down buttons?

It was not much to do anyway, I was just using the up/down buttons on the Receiver. But then 2-3 hours later, I got this problem with my LNBF.
But now i have the remote, everything is up and running.
