You are lucky to have your linkbox local power up a triple DPP LNB locking all three sats. We are happy for you that it is all working. I saw a friend install the same set up & all they received was S= 47 & Q=19 until they installed a DPP44. Then it jumped into the 90's.
We don't know why but some members report good success with just 1 fta receiver. Ultimately you will have to make the decision. You could run what you have & look for a deal on ebay, amizon, craigs list, kijiji or even flea markets & places like that. Many have found dik 301 receivers that still power up for under $20 & use them instead of a switch. All something to think about.
