Default 30 inch dish with a 110/119 bracket

Pretty well sums it up in the title, been using a multi bracket for a 30 inch dish but everytime a big wind comes along i have to climb the roof and tweak 119, 110 is never affected. What i was wondering if i used a 110/119 metal bracket with a 30 inch dish will that be ok.? The 30 dish does have a longer arm, would that hurt it? Thanks in advance.

If you put your mind to it..
first getting the focal point of the working setup you have right now..
The Distance from the Eye of the LNB to the center of the Dish..
you could probably.. make a new mount for the LNBs.. that would not move in the wind.
do you think, using some shims.. you could take the play out of the 119 lnb?

Do you have a picture of the dish and mount you have right now you could post to the thread?

This one has nothing to do with your setup.. but I thought I had seen pretty much any Dish setup there was.. until I saw this image.. talk about bouncing the signal.
off of the dish to a smaller dish to the LNBs.. who would have thought of such a setup?? lol

Now many years ago.. nothing pretty about it..
I took a DTV AT9 dish.. and used a Predrilled right angle bar.. to mount 110-119- 91 and I added 82 later for a friend of mine.. on it.. had to cock a few of the LNBs to get the signal but it worked and being able to use bolts and lock washers locked the LNBs into place even in strong winds..
This image is all I could find of it..

I've tried improvising often, however given time it messes up, just thought the metal bracket would be more secure, works great on a 18 inch dish.

It might be.. give it a try and see.
We can't see your dish, the type of mount you are using currently.. or the bracket you want to use.. so we can only say give it a try..

The images 1 and 2 you posted, the multi bracket is what i'm using now, with 119 off to the side which always goes off kilter in the wind. We get strong winds along the lake. Thanks for posting the images, made it much easier for me to explain.

maybe try using some thin rubber like a bicycle inner tube.. to go around mounts.. to see if that stops the slippage?
I did that.. with one setup I had.. the plastic sleeves, just was not enough 2 sets were too much.. 1 set was not enough.. so I used bicycle inner tube to make up the difference .. to make them a tight fit.. when tightened down

Wasn't going to do this till tomorrow but i got bored, set the tweak on 119 to my desired signal then drilled a small hole through the multi bracket bar and holder and just inserted a easy to remove pin. So far so good, we will see.
