uriah1221 there are many satellites in space some are used for tv. Sat 119w & 110 w are used by dik & carry nearly all the SD programing. You need 1 lnb pointed at each sat to get programing. Some people use 2 singlr lnb's other use a twin lnb which is two singles in one housing. If buying a twin DO NOT get the DishPro Twin Plus - Use the DishPro Twin.

You will have to tell us which DPP you have. As I said the Twin DP is good to use the Twin DPP wants more power then most receivers can supply. The triple DPP lnb's require a DPP44 switch to get enough power to the lnb's. If you have the dish 500+ or 1000+ (bottom 2 pictures) the ones that also get 118 you should also use a DPP44 switch.

I'm not sure what you are asking about.

I suggest you take a few min & read all the info you have already been supplied with. You are reading over some parts that may answerr your questions.

Some people use dishpointer.com to get the settings. It will give you a picture of the addy & you can drag the dish to the mounting location you plan on using. It will show you the line of sight to use.
If you will tell us which model dish you have we can give you the official dik chart by zip code.
