Default Why won't Captiveworks Ultima Files download?

Why won't Captiveworks Ultima Files download? I registered, confirmed, and logged in. When I try to download, I get the following error message:

" username, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Please help, I have lost all my files and want to use it for legit reasons.

Thank you in advance.

I try the USB menu and I try the USB key.

Please help a newbie. Thank you.

Hi Dells,

I am trying to play the games I downloaded from the CaptiveWorks Ultima area. I have them unzipped on a usb but I can't get my CW Ultima to see them or play them. I have them out of the folder on the usb.

Thanks,
Kelly

U might have to dig out.. the Null Modem Cable. and use the CW Loader to load the files.. onto the box..

I would be guessing but the games should be on the factory file.. is my guess.. and the factory file is what the original file was on the receiver to start with..

Did you read this post here? it says a USB came with the receiver and it has the games on it..
this link here.

No, I remember when I got the CW Ultima new that the games were on a usb and not on the receiver. That is the way this receiver worked. A usb connection on the back for recording video to (PVR) and a usb connection on the front for firmware updates and playing the games on the usb.

I remember in the past that all I had to do was plug in the usb and play.

Unfortunately I lost the usb and luckily I found this site with the files.

I wonder if I need to update the firmware or loader because I reverted it to factory settings?

Hmmm, thanks everyone.

If we don't have the file that has the games on it. you will have to find that elsewhere.. like I said. I did not follow this particular model of CWs..

Good morning txsgent, I guess I am not being clear. Firstly, thank you to everyone for their replies. I did find the files I need on this group's website, thank you. The games and other helpful files are on this website. I was just having trouble getting them to work, that is all. I will figure it out, especially with all the help I have been receiving, thanks again.

Thanks for joining VIP
You're somewhat on you're own as we are not familiar with that model. Maybe someone will come along that has one & will be able to assist you. Sometimes different brands of USB work better then others, try another stick if you have one.
