Missing EPG's

hi yall, got a question i have 2 recevers hooked to one dish, an old dishnetwork legacy i think. anyway it has two connections per lnb and i run each down to 2 different disq switches. then into each receiver. if i turn 1 recever off it gets better but not complete i can wait for hours and it won't get any better is it the bin that needs a twitch?

Did it work before the latest bin you loaded? Check all the connections to disqec switchs make sure they are tight!

well i just added this second receiver so i really cant say. let me make this clear they both work...... but on occasion when both are on they block channels from each other, you just get no signal ....turn off the one your not watching and bamm it come in cystal clear, its the same for the EPG it works when you turn off 2nd one after awhile.

Try each sat.. at the same time on both receivers... using a barrel connector.. bypassing the switch.. that will tell you, if it is the switch or not.. if you still have an issue.. it is either the cable.. connectors or even possibly a bad lnb.. I am guessing.. it is your switch or settings.. let us know how testing without the switch worked out.. good luck.. txsgent

also state your current settings.an old legacy twin looks just a dp twin with no letters DP on it.

my dish is a twin with no letters at all on lnb but 500 written on the saucer itself. with a barrel connector it works perfect! so i cannot tell if it is a switch or which of the 2 switches is the problem. as i said it has 2 connections per lnb and i am using all of them 1 to each reciever(2 per lnb total of 4 , one from each going to 2 different switches and then into 2 different receivers. 1 pansat 2700 and one captive 800

also i have echo7/119 going to port 1 and echo 6.8/110 going to port 2 on each switch.(remember i have 2 switches) i cannot get a second coax to either receiver to piggy back them and use only 1 switch. any ideas.......
