Hey guys!
So total newbie here...
My parents gave me a captain 7100 receiver bc there's a DTV dish on the side of my house. I have absolutely NO idea what to do.
I took off the LNB and it has no info on it; it just say DTV.
The screw closest to the dish is between 30 and 40, and the one closest to the wall is about 1/4 inch from the bottom. What do I have to do toget this baby rolling??
Thanks!

If that dish has one lnb one it then you should be able to use it. If that dish has more than one lnb, it will probably not work. If that dish was installed by directv contractors then it will have to be moved. What you are looking for is satellites echostar 6,8 (110W) or echostar 7(119W). What I would suggest is for you to download the setup guide for your receiver and start there.
