DN Channels ~ Moved Tirc.

Please pardon my ignorance if I am not using the right section to put my inquiry or question(s) regarding my coolsat satelite receivers.

I have a 7000 coolsat and a 8100 HD micro-pvr. My question is "how come I get more DN channels in 7000 than my 8100 HD. In my 7000 coolsat, at least I am getting 15 channels but in the 8100 HD, I am only getting three channels". Twiced I did auto and manual scan my 8100 HD and the result came out three channels in DN.

Tirconnell, no wonder why I could not post. You were moving the thread at the same time I was trying to post.

RPalustre here's what you need to start with.

You can start by telling us your setup. Example, dish, lnbs and switches you are using. What are your settings for both receivers and which satellites are you pointed to. How strong is the quality on your receivers.

Are you Deleting the Previously stored channels before you do a Re Scan ? Try that before you scan the satellites again .

I don't have a Coolsat so I can't tell you the exact process . Good luck and let us know if that doesn't work out ,,,

i have coolsat,post your settings and the dish/lnb type ,somethings off but it can be fixed 15 or 3 ,either way its way off
