I just received an email and shipping confirmation that my new CW-4000HD was shipped on Friday October 3rd! I pre-ordered it from JustFTA dot com and received the DHL shipping confirmation this morning. I'll provide more info on it as soon as it arrives and I get to take a closer look at it.
I'm looking at adding a hard drive, I think Linux can support a max size of 160Gig and also bumping up the memory, especially since the prices are so low these days. Now, hopefully the coders will decide to support it, or possibly it will use the same bin's as the 3000HD. We'll just have to see.

Looks like we need a new section so I will tell Satbum to add it.

starzman: How did the CW4000 work out? I know there isn't a bin for it yet, but have you gotten to mess with it otherwise at all yet? What kind of internal HD does it support? (IDE/SATA)?

hectorj: That depends on the connector types mentioned above (IDE/SATA).

it depends which linux, fedora , redhat, debian .... the one drive that I have tested and seemes to work well on all of them is the hitachi desktar ( 400, 500, 1TB) avoid the 750 Gb it is not a good drive.
Any questons about linux , command lines, supports, ..... let me know :)

4000 uses same software as 3000 including third party software. Supports SATA drives only. Friend of mine put a 500gig hard drive in his and it works great.
