I know you were anxious to get an answer to your question.. but you really should start your own thread.... not hijack someone elses. and you should also post in the appropriate discussion area... I moved your post to Coolsat discussion.. because you failed to mention which coolsat you had, or offer any information about it... it could be a bad file.... bad download.. bad install... hard to say... right now.... without any informationi... on your end... let us know.. glad you found us.... good luck, txsgent

I also recommend to get the latest file for your receiver and see if that helps with the freezing.

I also recomend getting a different brand of receiver, dont' get me wrong I love my CS7000 PVR when it works but it often has files released that are not fully tested before released. Take for instance the last 3 files for my receiver have all been fixes to the most recent ECM and all 3 are still having issues with freezing. This has been an ongoing issue for quite a few months now and based on experience I do belive that this issue will never be resolved with coolsat products due to the desimation (did I spell that right? Likely not) of their coder team.

When I first got the receiver support was quick and files were stable and this has been on a downward trend for at least the last 6 months. When I get my HD receiver which should be in the next month or 2 you can be assured it will NOT be a coolsat.
