i need help

hi. i just loaded the latest file to my receiver, but it shows no signal or quality. could you tell me what's worng, or maybe the antenna setup is not the proper one. i want to load echostar 8, could you tell me the proper lnb, tp and all those stuff to put them on the antenna setup? thanks in advance

Well you have to start by telling us what kind of dish, lnb, switch and receiver you have.

is this a new receiver? did you do a hard reboot (rear power off wait 2mins and back on)? this usally helps!

find your receiver tab at the top and read the sticky notes.. that should get you going and how to set up properly

i have a viewsat platinum. it is not a new receiver. i have it since last year.

I kno this sounds dumb nut chek everything is hooked up proper! and tight could there be something blocking the dish!

the quality and the signl appeared but it is in autoroll now. =/

autoroll can take upto 20mins to roll new keys in how long has it been rolling for? if take more than 40min rear power off and turn back on and see how that works for you

it has been in autoroll for 10 min now. i loaded the binfile dated 080710. i turned it off at hte back of the receiver and on again but it doesnt seem to work

leave on 1 channel til pic comes in hang tight can take upto 20mins!

well channel 100 appears as normal , the problem is with the other channels.

if it doesnt work do a fac default then reload file but you will need to redo antena settings aswell!

It should be in menus from on remote. Click STB on remote then click menu..
