I plan on getting the VS Ultra within the next few days and I've got a couple of questions (for BEV, that is):

Is it really as simple as following the instructions here (http://www.dssftp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69582) and loading this file (http://www.ftaconcept.com/showthread.php?t=1464) rather than the one mentioned in the guide (and aside from USB loading with the Ultra)?

Do keys need to be entered frequently or will autoroll be working?

As well, I've read about electronic countermeasures (ECMs). Will these (and have these) bricked any receivers?

If you flash your receiver with the latest bin, it will roll by itself when the keys change. None of ECM, EMM will harm your receiver in any way. read this:
