i need to load a cs 7000 and i have a win98 computer is there anyway i can upload the new files

There's two ways to update the cs 7000 via USB and via serial cable. I belive that you need to download drivers in order for windows 98 to recognize and work with a USB thumb drive. I remember that's what I had to do when the thumb drives were first being used. If that does not work then you need to download the loader for your receiver and use your serial cable.

do you know where i can get the driver from or know what i type in to find the driver thank you

Depending on the type of thumb drive you get. They usually have a website for the manufacturer.
