Great Info, surprised not to see the sonicview 4000 up by the Viewsat Ultra.. should definitely be above the Viewsat Extreme. JMO.. VSPro was not listed.. and it is as good, if not better than the Pansat 250SM(USB) they both are in the infancy stage.. still working out the bugs.. txsgent

i notice captain receivers didn't make the list but i have some reservation .maybe because it's a new receiver and there are still bugs to work out . would i recommend ... purchase at your own risk

I would have to put the Sonicview SV4000 at the top of your list, above the Viewsat Ultra. I have owned both of them and find the SV4000 much easier to set up and use. JMHO

8000hd is great when it's working. The support is questionable and should not make the list until it improves. Too bad for the support because the product is great!

I really think the CW 700 should have made the list. Good support, easy to use, minimal bugs. I recomend them for anyone new to the game.
