CNX mini is toast

I think a friends CNX mini is toast . Anybody know how to bring it back. The red light on the front comes on, just cant get it to turn on.

I would try and download the recovery files from the files section and load themusing the serial port on the back hooked up to the computer.

Thanks. I have the files but how do I use them now. Can I use the same cable as the one I use for my captiveworks 600s. Do you have instructions.

sorry I have never done it before with a CNX. I assume you would have to have the .exe file that "speaks" with the unit. Run the program, open the loader file and you should be able to use the same cable as your other unit.

Like I said I have never done it but that's what I would suggest. I am assuming that if you try to open the *.ldr file by double clicking it nothing happens. It that is in fact the executable file and the program opens then try to load the factory bin in that program and do it that way.

Sorry I don't have any concrete info.
