im new to this everything is working fine just wanted to know if we are able to pick up center ice and nfl packages with Sonicview 4000

Hello,
I have downloaded NFL channels but at game time they do not work. From what I have read it is some type of different incryption or different provider thet they use and no FTA box can pick them up.
As for NHL channels apparently you can get them but you have to scan your channels when all the games are on in order to get them on your receiver.
I have a SV4000 also and I will be doing just that on the first day that all the teams are playing.
I hope this helps as I am a relatvie newbie to all this myself.

what do you mean by scanning your channels

When you set up your box you scanned the satellite for all the channels. Just follow the same procedure when the season starts and the games are on and it should pick up the NHL channels that you are looking for.

Press menu, then dish settings then press the red button on your remote and it will scan all the channels on the satellite. When it is done press ok and chedk and see if they showed up on that scan. Like I said, do it when the season starts and a lot of games are on.
