channels appearing twice???

i search for echo 7 and then echo 10 but some of the channels appear twice, dose anyone know why?? am i doing somthing wrong? and how can i get all of the ppv channels? if someone can help thanks....

I would first check your settings for each satellite and insure that you in fact have 110 on 110 and 119 on 119...The receiver should tell you when you set the settings for LNB type and switch port..etc that you have locked in on that satellite...make sure your quality is above 85%.

Without knowing your settings, type of dish, type of LNBs and switch (if you have one), I'm just guessing.

You can delete the duplicates and run an auto scan to see if you pick up the missing channels or you can do a factory default and setup the receiver from scratch insuring you have the right satellites and best possible quality signal...

as cs stated doing a factory default and using auto scan feature instead of using blind scan(is that what u used). blind scan tends to me messy and gives duplicates. let us know if this helps.

many people think if they use blind they will get extra channels when really it usally provides doubles!

no big deal...go to your menu and go to channel edit and check each channel 1 by one..and if you do get a picture keep it and if you have signal but no quality signal and not pic...get rid of it...because when you go to the channels it will go to it and work..no matter if you have 2 of the same channel they will show up when you use the remote buttons to get the number...I just rid of channels that do not work at all
there are not that many...you get them by scanning more than once...and you did not clear out the old ones first
tell use how that has worked for you...I know it can be a pain...but you will like things better
