While some subscribers continue to wait for their big high-definition pay-off, DISH Network is launching a new promotional offer to hype its HD service. The satcaster unveiled this week an exclusive offer for DISH subs to receive a hefty savings when they buy certain Sharp LCD televisions.
DISH said Thursday that through Jan. 31, any DISH high-def subscriber who purchases a Sharp AQUOS LCD TV is eligible to receive up to $800 in instant savings on the TV-maker's popular line of flat panel HDTVs. During the promotional period, DISH customers can take advantage of the deal on several Sharp AQUOS sets with screens ranging from 26- to 65-inches, the company said.
Sharp's AQUOS line of HGTV's are equipped with full high-definition 1080p resolution for a sharp picture. The promotion also includes free delivery within qualifying areas of the continental U.S., while supplies last, the company said.
