What is Fat 32 ?
It's a type of Formatting, frequently asked by "Newbies" when they get a new receiver with a "USB Stick", and it is supposed to be formatted before using.

Follow This Guide :
Click "My Computer" on your "Desktop".
Then Plug in the USB stick.
When it shows up on the list, "Right Click" on it.
In the "Pop-Up" window select "Format".
Then in next box, Fat 32 is already selected.
Go down to "Quick Format" and check that box, then click "Start".
Congratulations, now you have your stick ready to use.

you can format in DOS also...that also works for Linux and winblows..and most FTA's
any way fat 32 is the base operating system, like Dos and fat 16 was...most things run NTFS now,,,but windows 98 and down still use fat 32
