Some channels not showing with new version file

hello gurus,
I bought coolsat 7100 recently. I did system reset with factory default file. That time I have seen some international channels. I downloaded latest version NORW file (149) and did a system reset. This time I do not see those international channels. The problem with the factory default file is that it is showing scrambled channel. I waited for more than 1 hour but no use. Any help greatly appreciated.

do a factory default from the menu on the reciever, not load the factory file, then redo settings as this reset the box so make sure all your settings are wrote down so you know. then rescan sats. if you have good signal and quality this should fix you buddy.

I did the way you said, it didn't help. Please give me details.
With factory settings I see the following.
LNB Type : Universal
LNB Pwr : On
DiSEqC sw : off/off/off
Positioner setting : None
After installing the new version, I did sat search manually with the above settings. But, didn't find the int. channels.

what sats are u aiming at. here is the proper settings and i was saying that a factory default will erase everything including the channels so you could rescan the sats. btw when scanning use auto scan.

Thank you for the info mod guru. Following info gives you some idea what I did.
With factory file when I did a channel search on sat ES8,10 I found international channels. I written down the details (see below).

Satellite..............EchoStar 8,10 (110W)
LNB Power .............ON
LNB Type...............Universal
LNB Freq...............9750
10600
DiESqC sw .............off/off/off

Installed the new version file and did auto search (here while searching I didn't see DiESqC ports searching for LNB Universal, DiESqC ports only searched for LNB Single and OCS). After doing the auto search (where I didn't find int. channels), I did a manual search for the channels with the above settings. But, I didn't see any international channels. Please advise me what step(s) I am missing in this.
