how to convert .TS to MPG or DVD

I record some movie at my Coolsat 7100, they are .TS files
I want to burn them into DVD.
How can I do ?

if you want to see a ts file use videolan on your computer.
and if you want to see it with your dvd player you must first transcode it with HDTVtoMPEG2 and use the mpeg2 file with a authoring software before your burn it like dvdlab
(videolan is a freeware from videolan dot org)
( dvdlab mediachance dit com not freeware..just check out the web for a copy you can try and buy they have one out do not know if it lets all the features work )

The program ConvertXToDVD is probably one of the more popular programs used to convert .ts files into DVD format..You'll find lots of info and links to download this program in the Software section off the main site (forums) page.

VSO ConvertXtoDVD 3 v3.0.0.13 is the newest version and it took me 2 minutes to find and download it
so if anyone needs a RS link ask for it
