Is any one else getting nothing but scrambled channels? W/ 148?

My system is down again, I just spend hours last week fixing it, is 148 working for you guys?

Another day in the life of FTA. We have been hit with another ECM. some STB's are already back up with new files. Coolsat will post later, usually a lot later...

Why is Coolsat always the last one to get them? Who is the first?
Maybe next time I'll purchase another box brand!

I was told not to turn off my Coolsat to avoid getting hit, Does it matter if I leave it on?

Newbie and very frustrated customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a new file out for the CS6100thru to 8100 released last night. Go to the files section for your receiver, download and install...

Sorry I can't help you with the driving wife crazy part:D, but I can help you with the leaving the receiver on question....

It really doesn't make much of a difference..leaving it on, will allow the keys to roll on the provider that the channel is and could save you 5-10 minutes the next time you turn the receiver on...Otherwise...If an ECM comes down the pipe, there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

Actually the NORW Group was on the ball yesterday and right there with other receivers for file releases...

The NORW Group are the coders for the Coolsat receivers and a few minor others. The files are compliments of them and yes they are always in hiding and never reveal themselves to the public....

File 149 is freezing a lot..with "scrambled Channel" message..need to either change channels to a different satellite or power off from the rear switch and back on..wait for picture...

You know, for the first time my CS7100 is not freezing and it's working really good w/149 bin file. I don't know why?

My set up is the same as CsFTAForever passed on the SAT set up info.

Glad to here 149 is working well for you...149 does seem to have settled down a little with the occasional pause in video and sound. Still notice sound out of sync occasionally and recording is not as stable as it was 3 releases ago...

I still believe there is small memory leak in the code that causes some receivers to crash when in standby mode..A hard power off is the quick fix to this...
