I just rescanned my channels but I am missing some of the key channels now like tvland comedy and 465(wrestling ppvs). How do I add them back??? and yes i have tried rescanning both 110 and 119.
Thanks

Try doing a factory reset (factory Default), this will erase all your channels, before you do the factory reset, write down your sat settings in the menu. Now, after you do the factory reset, do a hard reboot. Enter your sat settings now. rescan the sats. Make sure you are getting a good signal, 75 or higher. Let us know how you come out...

It seems to me that you need to check the transponder quality. Take a look at lyngsat.com and see what transponders carry the channels you are missing. Look at your receiver to see if you have a signal on those transponders.

The channel 456 in DN is in 110W @ tp freq. 12297. Check this tp freq if you have Signal & Quality.

Sat TPs dropping off, if it's not a file issue is generally a sign of something starting to fail in the cable, switch or LNB. Check to make sure there is no damage to the coax cable..pay close attention to the connection points. Try not to piece together many pieces of coax..One piece direct from the receiver to the switch/LNB is best!!
If using a DISEqC switch, try swapping out the switch for another.
Make sure that the receiver is completely powered off before you disconnect or connect anything...not doing this can blow the receiver, switch or LNB.....
The important thing here is you do one step at a time to trouble shoot your problem....combining steps will cause you confusion and most likely will not result in solving the problem.
Don't worry about your settings on the CS7100..it has the ability to auto detect satellites, switches and LNBs...Although take notice that with 148, it detects 91as Galaxy 11. You'll need to fix that if that happens.
Failing that working, post back with your dish, switch and LNB type along with your settings in Dish setup and we'll be able to help you out more.
Cheers
