I am thinking of putting my baby CS4000 to work for a 123W Company. But not sure what the requirements are.
I know Dr. GH said it once b4. And now I couldn't find that book anywhere here.
Anyone knows where it's at ?
Thanks,
T. :help

Here you go. The search feature works great. Please let me know if you were able to get this sat as that is something I want to try myself.

Hey UFC,
Thanks, man for looking it up. I was just not sure the size of dish used for that 123W.
Here's the situation, my baby CS4k is at my working place and on a commercial building, not sure about changing dish size every other WEEK, you know what I mean? Kinda dangerous even though I have it in the back room.
Oh...the post didn't show the LNB Freq. So not sure what to set it at
I guess this is what I am gonna use my CS4000 and 4000 Clone as Cooltec for 123W But I need to get another big dish.

Here you go. That will tell you the lnb type and frequency. Take a look at the foot print and see how big of a dish you will need.

its states 123W Galaxy 10r - linear lnb, either universal or standard - 10750 MHz ''so can my lnb work if i'm already watching with what i have '' i'm set up on 91W Nimiq port 3, 119W Echo 7 port 1, and 110W Echo 8 & 10 port 2,i want too use my single dish that is set up for 91W Nimig on port 3 too find 123W galaxy10r

No you will have to replace the lnb you are using for 91. You will need a dish that is around 32" and the lnb needs to be linear.

They all look very similar but you have to look at the description when you buy them. It should tell you that it can pick up any linear poralized satellite.

so when it say's [linear lnb, either universal or standard] that mean standard or universal linear lnb's, or just a standard lnb, ect...three different kinds or as long as there is linear in it standard or universal .you said i need too change my lnb its a standard single lnb "hope you understand what i'm saying."on my 91W Nimig set up

Nimiq 1, takes a circular LNB, thats a standard LNB like you have. It works on 11250 MHz, for quality, use 12224 transponder, should be around 352 channels on nimiq 1, plus 3 total clear channels...

right its a standard thats why i am confussed when it states in th thread above that you need a linear lnb, either universal or standard ...

Ok, let me explain it a little bit better. There are two types of polarization lnbs. (Linear and Circular). Most satellites out there are Linear but DN and BEV use Circular polarization on most sats anyways. 123W needs a Linear lnb. There are different types of lnbs out there, DP, DPPlus, Quad etc..., standard, universal, etc.....There are too many to name. Having said all that. You should go with a standard linear polarized lnb. A universal linear polarized lnb should work fine.
