Hello all! Kinda new to this and have some questions. My CNX has been down for some time now and the 05/05/08 patch didnt work? Will files fixes for coolsat or viewsat work on my CNX mini? Or do I need to be a little more patient! Also being that I have a CNX mini how does "Charlie" and "bev" affect me? What are those two name or should I say, what do they represent? I do apologize if the are continuious questions....

DO NOT try to load any other files that aren't meant for your Mini..

No do not load any other files except the ones for your receiver. Currently there are no new files that work so just be patient and do some reading since you are down anyways.

There should be new *.EXX patch files. Just got them at 2:30 pm MDT, right after the 2:00 pm ECM. & it's working great.

check into the newbie section also, it has alot of really good info for people starting, reading all that stuff really helped me out when I felt lost.

emortol1, UFC and other members have told you not to load other files other than for your STB and this is correct. Now for your other question: Charlie = DishNetwork & BEV = Bell ExpressVu (Canadian provider). Now the only affect they'll have on you will be throwing ECM's down the stream to disrupt you from getting video from them. Don't apologize for questions, that is what we are here for. Good luck
