my clone 2700 is dead when i upload X-87BL_070912_B75_213_api

Hello friends of FTA cOncept,

Before anything else, thanks so much for the people who has been working all day for new bins and stuffs .

It happens when i installed the bin X-87BL_070912_B75_213_api to my clone pansat 2500 and now 2700; at first it was ok. then on my remote i recognize that the "0" is not working anymore so didnt have the chance to edit the date, time etc. so i decided to turn it off (back of my unit.) then when i turned it on, PUFF! its gone. is there a way to revive my unit. Thanks so much

Pansat-C 2700 213v1 Tivo this is the bin you should have used what you put in was the one for the pansat original so now you will have to get a jtag and clear the eeprom.. jtagintime .. it is not that bad you can get a jtag from e-bay for 10 bucks or less and the files someone can get for ya here .. if not i can post them if you pm me .. later and sorry bud .

try the clone factory and see but usually when it is hit with the pansat bin it is dead until it is jtagged ..

thanks for the quick response tomcat01. im a newbie in the FTA world, and wondering how to jtag my unit. is it another cable connected to a laptop or pc going to the unit? is it the same with the 232 cable? if ill go on ebay and order one, how many pins do i need? (if you can post the ebay link for the jtag i need, thats a lot of help)

can u pls tell me how. if u have pictures or diagram showing the steps, it would be realy great.

I am sorry to say that you will have to JTAg your unit back to life. YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT THE CLONE BIN ONTO YOUR PANSAT.

just wait i have a allround jatgging file for the clones but i am having problem uploading it here give me some time and i will get it up and you can follow the directions .. but really my opinion you should just get a new updated reciver .. but i will post the files soon and give you a link to follow .. tomcat01

this is the link for the files you will need i had to find all the ones for the clones and the bins .. make sure that you follow the directions that are there when you get the jtag make sure to hook the 12 pin to the board and before you hook it write down the chip number so you can match up with the chip in the jkeys drop down now with he jtag you get you will have a 12 pin to the board and then a ltp hook up that is the old pronter poirt hook up .. then you have to make sure that it is set up for com port 1 and make sure in the jkey program iot is the same .. just follow the directions and you will be fine here is the link for all

now you can go to any computer store that sells fta clones and they will have a jtag cable get one that does 20 and 12 pin and you will be set ..

or you can go to e-bay and just search for jtag and there will be tons
