I am a newbe here at this site and with FTA world, so I have alot of dumb questions for all the experts!

I set up my SN sat 119
lnb type....................ocs-dp
lnb freq.......................11250
22khz..........................off
tp freq.........................12224
diseqc 1.0 ......................por 1
motor.........................off
legacy sw.....................off

signal is above 90 and am able to down load about 185 channels, everything good, right, NOT!!
when I select any local channel or any channel for viewing, it shows it's scrambled channel. WHY??
I loaded lates software/files. I keep loosing sinal/communication with the SAT why is this happening?

Why I can't get chanels like USA, TNT, comedycentral, Discovery, cartoon network with above Sat setup?
I was told NOT to turn off the CS7100, but I keed loosing signal/contact with SAT and I need to reset the system and I have to go through the same steps over again and again!

I need serious help any experts out there??:
:banghead
:help

Can you tell us how you have the CS7100 and the captain connected? Are you using the loop out from one to the other? Are you using any switches?

dukeone..I moved your post to the CS7100 discussion area as I see your talking about the Coolsat 7100.

A new file has just been released that will help you. You can find it here; http://www.ftaconcept.com/showthread.php?t=15116

If this doesn't resolve your problem, suggest you flash back to factory, then flash with latest release. Power off from rear switch, go through language and time setup, then let the receiver auto detect your LNB's, switch amd LNB type.

Perform an auto scan for channels. Make sure auto roll is turned on and put the receiver on one channel and wait for keys to roll and be applied. Do not channel surf...could take up to ten minutes.

There are some excellent guides in the CS7100 discussion forum for your use and education.

Cheers
