my review from 10-14-2006:
1.this thing rocks with 160 mrtzs pros.REAL FAST,channle change and scans.its enuff to make a grown man cry.
2.super crisp clear pic at all times,unreal how clear the pic is,and so far not one freez or pix.SUPER!
3.the menus on this are great with TONS of toys,options.
also nice toys wile watching tv such as, theams options,push a button and search for example all movies playing at the time,and search by name option for example type in "poker" and it will list all poker tournemnts playing.press page down button wile watching for a fast way to edit keys.
4.long *** epg,with 2 epg styles old and new,add on bins for channle icons and long channle names to make both styles well worth useing.
5****n change background to custimize to your taste wile in menu.
6.8 favs list,echo pack,bev pack,local channle pack.
7.auto diseqc switch,load and scan,for super easy setup.
8.factory default options such as:ALL-CHAN LIST ONLY-RADIO CHAN LIST ONLY-SCRAMBLED CHANS ONLY-DELETE SAT CHANS.
9.autoroll of course.
10.no need of password to enter menus,set one if needed.
11.save a list,load a list witch will stay even after a factory set.
12.time can be set manual or auto so TIME COMES FROM THE STREAM.and stays on time.
13.shows channle rateings for movies,etc.
14.(just found this nice tool) a status bar when you go to channle that fills as the time goes on.so if you see it half full,you know the show is half over-this is very accurate.(in the first info screen,to the left,in orange chan rateing is to the far right here along with time.)
15.pip (pic in pic)up to 16 chans on 1 screen,cool idea,but dont work well.hopefully in future bins.i dont see why this cant be improved on,as im sure it probly will.
16.lets of course not forget this stb also has GREAT SUPPORT.
17.this is worthly of saying again:the pic quality rules!
19.optical out for surround sound receiver,works and sounds great!
20.price!!! wow i cant belive how much stb you get for about a hundred bucks!! unbeliveable! buy one,and you will be happy you spent the small amount of cash for this puppy,i sure am.

28.overall ease of use.very easy to setup.scan and watch tv.
the menu system is called "kround" its very nice and modern looking.
