Hey,

With the introduction of the dongle will there be releases of the regular usb files? I hope so, but if someone knows let me know. I'm not ready to invest more money on the coolsat when there are others avalible with the dongle features already included.

You might want read up on this Dongle thing.

Q. What is A Dongle?
A. Dongle is a small piece of hardware that connects to a computer. The usual
function of a dongle is to authenticate a piece of software. Without the dongle,
the software will run only in a restricted mode, or not at all. Dongles are used by
some proprietary vendors as a form of copy prevention or digital rights
management, because it is much harder to copy a dongle than to copy the
software it authenticates. Despite being hardware, however, dongles are not a
complete solution to the trusted client problem.
Vendors of software-protection dongles (and dongle-controlled software) often
use terms such as hardware key, hardware token, or security device instead of
dongle, but the term "dongle" is much more common in day-to-day use.vendor to
engage in vendor lock-in and charge more than it would otherwise for the product.

Q. Is this Legal?
A. Yes 100% The puropse of this dongle is to receive weather forecasts and many
cool games that will be added soon

Q. Why Is my power cord different?
A. This product is iimported from Korea they sell a adapter at low cost in any
electronic store keep in mind you do not need a power converter as the
dongle supports 110V and 220V.All you need is a adapter to convert the plug

Q. What does this do with my Coolsat FTA Receiver?
A. The dongle connects to the coolsat receiver and allows the receiver to connect
to the internet to receive updates, weather information, and much more.
