Problem with the coolsat!

So i have the coolsat 7100 with the dish network 500, that i've been runing this now for a month now, and the problem it started yesterday that i dont get any of the payperview but i get all of the other channels, does anyone know why and is there a patch to fix this problem?

The problem is the ecm. This is a weird problem and many receivers are experincing it. Please wait for a new fix.

This is no place to be bin begging it's place to learn our new hobby, while we're down it's good time to read up on all stickys so you be ready when bin is released.

Hopefully you have taken advantage of the fantastic features of the CS7100 and recorded some programming to watch...That feature alone is awesome and can in most cases provide you with some great viewing while waiting for the latest release!!!

Just purchased CS7100, not my 1st receiver here. I'm not getting ANY quality signal, and it's stating "NO Satellite's Found". It's not finding ANYTHING... FTA TV, radio .. Nothing. Could I possibly have gotten a faulty receiver? Or can someone offer suggestions? I have read & read the forums and can not find anything to suggest what the problem could possibly be. Does anyone have any information or idea's to offer?
Have never run across this problem with ANY of my other receiver's and I'm Really lost with this CS7100at the moment!!! Trying not to get frustrated!

Klynne don't get frustraded just tell us what kind of dish, lnbs and switches you have. What settings did you put into your coolsat. What satellites are you trying to view. Just give us as much information as you can and we can help you better.

Question is there way to make this bin file, instead of waiting around? sorry still alittle to this stuff and was woundering if its hard to make this bin file???

Thanks ufcwatcher for your offer on help. I worked like a Fool for these last few days and FINALLY got the Coolsat up at least with quality. Had to add another dish and lnb, not sure if my other 3 lnb's (Dishpro's) have quit working or what's up with that, I'll have to test them out. I find it odd that all of the lnb's have crapped out. I took my compass out and checked their aim, but still nothing on them. My switch is Coolsat 4x1/950-2400 MHz. The satellities that I'm aimed at are: switch 1- Echostar 8-10(110 degrees), ES 7(119)on switch 2, ES 5(129), Nimiq (82)on switch 3, Nimiq(91) on switch 4. NOW, I finally got quality on Nimiq, and realize that DN & bev is down and scrambled, but I'm not getting any of the free local channels at all on DN. Is there something up with that or am I just doing something wrong? Have not been able to also get Anything at all up on the Buzz, Buzz plus, or Neusat 6000.
As you are, I'm trying my wife's patience, for she's the 1 who I keep bugging about looking for info, files and answer's! She doesn't watch much TV but knows that I LOVE my TV! LOL, she's about ready to send me into another world for my next lifetime! Any suggestions would be Greatful, I would like to live a little longer!

The CS7100 has the ability to auto detect your LNBs, switches and sats and set them up for you. This feature works quite well....take advantage of it.

You mentioned that you have a "3 lnb's (Dishpro's)", make sure that you haven't installed the DISEqC switch that came with the CS onto this dish. The DP Pro has a built in DISEqC switch!! Connect the receiver directly to this and allow it to auto detect your LNBs, switch ports and LNB type.

I tried the Auto detect and if found no sat's. So I put the Coolst switch on and that's when it found the sat's for me. I then added another dish & lnb and that's when it found the bev, but there is still nothing from the DN. My queston is if there is something up with DN and that's why I'm not able to detect it or is there something that I need to keep working at to bring it in.
