DVR Issue (Sound no Picture)

Hello. I have noticed last night when I went to my DVR and picked smething to watch, I have noticed that there was sound but no picture. I even picked other pre-recorded shows and they all have the same issue, sound but no picture and the funny thing is when I fast forward it I can see the picture but when I play it again it disappars. I need help if anyone has seen this problem and has a fix for it. Thanks.

The same thing happened to me. I turned the unit off in the back waited ten seconds and turned it back on and it was fine.

When you say you turned off the "unit". Do you mean the DVR or the STB box. Thanks.

I switched the STB box off in the back and then turned it back on. I didn't do anything with the hard drive.
