I have used the CW 600S Premium thru 2 different file changes. This was the first time I had seen a CW unit. I downloaded the instructions on how to flah the unit and the sw needed from here and within 10 minutes was watching tv. The unit is very easy to load and program. The unit has very good quality sound and the picture is great to. The autoroll function was very fast. The only thing I didn't like about the unit was the cable that came with it to upgrade the unit could have been a little bigger in size, this small cable would be easy to break. The second upgrade I did to the unit took very easy. I wanted to wait and see how it did before I gave any review on it and also to test the autoroll function. I liked the epg that this unit displayed it was easy for us senior members to read. The auto discque setting was a unique feature for this reciever. This unit is very reasonable in price from our sponsor ( FTA PROS ). I have copied it's specs here;

NEW TO TV!

just want to correct.the old 600s regular had 16 mbs of sdram.

the correct info for the cw 600s premium is: 32 Mb SDRAM
(thats why it gets 7 days epg DN and 2 days bev)

Thanks for the correction. It is a good low priced reciever. I enjoy learning about this unit. It is very user friendly. It is a little different than what I'm use to. But easy to work.
