They both are exellent units... If you like CW, go with Captiveworks 800S PVR :)

I never promote one receiver over another.. if I can help it... They are both great receivers.. the CW's are cheaper in price.. but they do pretty much everything the Viewsat Ultra does... Even though Viewsat is not always first with fixes... I am partial to it... over most receivers... I think it is the easiest receiver in my aresenal for setting up... but that is me... I also like Sonicview Receivers.. they have great support also.. I own. both the 4000 and 8000 SV's.. I have the CW 600 and 800 also... I also have a Satopia, and now that TBL is doing the coding.. they are getting better in the support department.. again... Nfusion is a good way to go also.... if you don't mind being connected to the internet. I am very partial to most receivers that are USB upgradeable..... do lots of reading... on as many receivers as you can... then make a decision.. good luck.. let us know what you decide... txsgent

Thanks Guys.
I had ViewSat ultra I had no luck, turns out it was the lnb issue and poor signal due to the location. I have no choice to but to stay with Starchoice, until I move to a new condo.

Thanks all for your suggestions.
