HELP!! My box freezez

Hi guys can someone help me, I have the latest patch and keys and my box works great but my coolsat 4000 keeps freezing out of nowhere, I don't know what to do. I did a factory reset and it still does it. When it freezes I need to power down the box for a sec then turn it back on then it works for about 1 min before it freezes again.

This will do just fine for that issue.

1- factory reset ( Make sure you write down your settings )
2- Install the 120 Bin
3- Install the 173 or 172 Bin ( 172 worked fine for me )
4- reset your settings
5- Go scan your Sat
6- Should be able to see your TV

You can do a factory reset and load a different file , then set your receiver up and do a scan or wait for a new fix.

They rushed that last one out because of everybody complaining.
You see what happens when they are rushed?

On the other side of the coin, when they take their time the ECM comes as soon as the new fix gets posted..

BTW: I usually load my files 2 times to be sure.

I have a 4000 pro coolstat that also freezes up, but I don't have a 120 bin. I would appreciate it if someone could provide that particular bin.

Thanks for the help I really appreciat it. Now when I load this 120 it will erase the previous bin. So, when I load the 173 will I need to have the 120 erased?

The factory file will overwrite the current file..making the receiver like it was when you bought it. Make sure you know or have written down your satellite settings, you'll need to re-enter them. After the factory file (120) is loaded, load the current 173 into the receiver like you would normally. Reset up your satellites, auto scan and wait for the keys to update. Leave it on one channel for as long as 10 minutes.

Oh...No..No I didn't mean that...Heheh. Just got a little excited when I got the result from mine. That was exactly what I did to mine.

But after all, I think it's the issue with the CS thing. Because other receivers works fine.

I've also seen a fix w/check TIME SETTINGS, some 4 Ks. have 2004 for date.!!!

If 172 works for you then use 172..

You might need a new bin, this was happing to VS Until the new bin.
