Hi ,
I am going to get CS-7100,I took a look to its Spec. ,and every things look like O.K ,is there any body to tell me , is it a good choice ?Or I should go for another model.
Its manual shows that, if we record a file for more than 4 GB we can't watch it on the receiver and we must use a PC, but I don't 4GB is how many minute.

IMHO it's a great receiver...probably the best PVR FTA receiver...I own it's cousin the CS7000.
The biggest issue today is support for the third party files. At times the files will be 2 to 3 days behind other receivers, however the last couple of releases have come in the top 5 released...same day or next day!
All the PVR FTA receivers record at approximately 1GB per hour. I have never had a problem with my CS7000 recordings..think the longest movie I have recorded is 3.5 hours and it plays back perfectly.
As an alternative, I'd look at the CW800S PVR, its had good reviews and is very reasonably priced.

Figure 1 gig per hour for recording. CS has been up and down in their timing for fire releases. Overall up time "compared" to other units leaves a bad taste for some users. Lately the files seem to come faster!
