HELP! I have a CS8100HD PVR, trying to set up on BEV. I have a subscribed dish on roof pointed for 91 and 82 satellites. Pointed correctly working fine on subscribed receiver (approx 90%). With the Diseqc switch installed on the free LNB outputs, the CS STB will not recognize the signal.
Followed all the instructions for CS8100 posted, have the most current bin file (CS8100-11427F_03-12-2008) loaded via USB. We did have this receiver running for a short time on the switch used for the subscribed receiver (not diseqc) - oops. I have to wonder if I fried the receiver by using the wrong switch at the start. From what I have read, I do not think I can do a factory reset just yet as I have no serial port on my computer - don't know if this would help anyway....
Any thoughts??
I am wondering why you used a switch...if you have a subbed system system..you should have a second port...did you try that before you tried a switch?

Current subscribed system has a SW21, allowing only 1 receiver to run on it. 2nd port available on each LNB. Prior to installing the Diseqc 4x1 2.0 switch on the available ports, and running cable - we decided to connect the CS8100 to the existing set-up for our subscribed receiver, just to see if we could get it up and running - sucess. We then went up to the roof and installed all the appropriate wiring to hook up permanently with the Diseqc 4x1 switch that came with CS8100. In doing this satellite connection was disconnected while CS8100 still turned on. From further reading, I'm now wondering if the switch is fried instead of the receiver. I have found instructions on how to test the switch and plan to do so tonight.

it is posible that the switch is fried. try to hook up cs8100 with the switch (straight to the lnb) and see if you get anything that way. I think that you have two lnb's with one eye each and two outputs right ?
use 2 sw21 switch's and also use the legacy 1 and 2...don't use the Diseqc switch
I only use that on 4 different dishs..to 1 FTA only....and turn on the lnb1 and lnb 2
also use the standard lnb setup..turn off the 22mhz
but as said above make sure you did not fry the receiver...if your other receiver works then the system works and also the switch....so get a extra sw21 switch...after you test out your FTA on the one you have for your bev receiver

It's alive!! All channels functional. After running a few tests (switch/receiver), we tried the simple solution of resetting factory defaults thrugh the STB menu. This allowed the STB to autoscan for satellites and all is now well. Lesson learned - try the simple things first!!!!
