I have hard rumours from people closely tied to BCE which is the mothership of Bell that there will likely be a card-swap happening in the near future.
Nearest I can figure is that a card-swap can be afforded in Canada, since the customer base is a mere few million. This would cost little compared to what DN would have to fork out in order to swap out everyone's plastic.
I would tend to believe that DN will take a wait and see what happens to BEV before they decide to swap, because no-one inside DN wants to stick their neck out and suggest or order a card swap-out if it will only last a few days before it's hacked. That would certainly get the decision maker FIRED.
...Remember - they said Nagra2 was UNHACKABLE, and look where we are today! :D
