I saw this coolsat card reader upgrade, what card is being used and for what reason?

About a year ago for a very short time there was an aux fix that ran on ROM cards for the CS 4000. If you had an open card and the card reader installed on the CS you'd have TV. There hasn't been an aux fix for the card reader since. You could in theory use a card reader in the CS4000 for a sub, although I haven't heard of anyone doing this.
