119 signal

i normally have about 83-90 quality on 119, but when im on another sat and i go to 119 it shows 0. all i have to do is flip through the frequency till it comes back?? my switch is a 4x1diseqc 2.0 and is about a month old. sat dish 500 used dont know how old. lnb going bad??

I get the same thing on Frequency 12224...I seem to remember reading a while back that this frequency is not used any longer...if you change it to 12239 you should be good.

Once you have all you channels scanned in this shouldn't affect you getting channels...if it is, it could be a switch or LNB issue where power or proper frequency isn't getting through the switch or to the LNB. Make sure your connections are solid, try a new DISEqC...make sure power is off to receiver before you disconnect anything tho...could cause a surge and blow something.

upon checking on this i found that i had my switch set on the wrong setting. seems to have been the problem. THANKS once again for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!
