channel manager question

my brother is looking at getting a cw700. i have a cw800. will the channel manager file (.sdx) created with my 800 be able to be loaded into his 700 or is the format a little different between the two. he likes how i have my fav's set up and get almost all b3v stations. we have the exact same set-up (dish, lnb, no switches). thanks in advance

In theory...this might work....However the favs may be handled differently....I would suggest that you setup the CW700 and create it's own favs/channel list and save it for easy retsore if you ever have to restore to factory.
